Paper is one of my favorite mediums on the planet. Its incredible versatility allows endless possibilities for the creative thoughts that pour out of my ears on the daily.
So, why not use all of that creative ear juice to concoct something useful? Something useful, like a 2024 planner!
I’m stretched for time, yes! I can’t fit much more into my schedule, yes. But since writing, drawing, and creating are some of the ways I decompress, I can simply focus those times to accomplish specific creative things.
Yes, if I’m not careful, this will no longer be a time of decompression, but a time of stress. So, I’ll put several things in play to make sure that doesn’t happen, such as applying metacognitive awareness strategies (sounds brainy, don’t it?) and scheduled checks to look for signs of freaking out.
Overall, I’m stoked! I’ve got 11 more designs to go. I think I might truly need to exit the thought box for the remaining designs, as I have only some ideas as to how I’ll continue the series.
This cutesy design was inspired by my love for my precious cousin, whose birthday was celebrated today. I wanted to gift her something handmade, cute, practical, and spiritual. Voila! The “Daughter of The King” planner was born! It’s so cute that it inspired several other creative thoughts, including some designs for similar planners.

With not much left to 2023, I suppose I had better get to work!
